Pro gamers would require a handful of gaming peripherals to have a massive advantage over their enemies. One of these gaming peripherals is a good gaming headset. But, not a lot of people are okay with putting a heavy pair of headphones on their head for prolonged periods of time.
Luckily, you can get a gaming earphones instead, which provides nearly the same audio experience. But, how will you know if the gaming earbuds is going to be good?
Well, why not turn to prominent gaming companies? Specifically, Thermaltake has been creating a lot of gaming peripherals lately and they aim to create an earphone that will probably be a game changer.
The Tt eSports Isurus Pro is an amazing pair of earbuds with mic that not only has a unique aesthetic, but it also has some unique features as well.
The Tt eSports Isurus Pro is one gaming earphone that has a much rather unique design. It has this honeycomb aesthetic on the outer portion of the earphone and that it has the Thermaltake logo inside of it.
There is something that most people complain about earphones or in-ear monitors in particular, and that is that they do not fit snugly on every ear. That is about to change as the Isurus Pro comes with ear hooks that help make the earphone stay in place while you’re gaming or even just listening to music on your mobile phone.
It has a slim cable that prevents unwanted tangles, especially if you put the Tt eSports Isurus Pro in your pocket. It sports a predominantly red look and there are also some black accents on the earphone itself.
What I love about the Isurus Pro is that it comes with a lot of accessories. It comes with a splitter cable so that you can use this on your PC and it also comes with a sturdier leather pouch.
The leather pouch can withstand heavier external forces and they’re quite durable. This is a great move by the company considering that how most earphones are handled.
There are also inline controls on the cable for play, fast forward, and backward. There are no volume controls, however.
Now, one of the most unique features of the Isurus Pro is its detachable boom microphone. Even though there is already an inline microphone, the company added another detachable microphone to further improve the voice clarity that the microphone can output.
The microphone can be adjusted well so that it can easily be put in the most convenient position without it being too prominent.
The Tt eSports Isurus Pro is definitely no slouch as the earphones make use of two 13.5mm drivers. You’ve read that correctly: it uses 13.5mm drivers!
Interestingly enough, I thought that the bass response of the Isurus Pro would drown out the highs and the mids, but that wasn’t the case.
In fact, this earbuds actually delivered a balanced sound output. Bass are punchy without too overpowering and the highs can definitely be heard.
I do have to point out, though, that the mids can get muddy. However, in-game voices will be heard of with clarity.
As for the microphone’s performance, it is definitely one of the clearest and best-sounding microphones on a gaming earphone.
It provided a clear voice to both me and my pals on the other end. It also does a nice job of blocking out unwanted noise. My pals were barely able to hear my mechanical gaming keyboard clack while we’re playing Overwatch.
I am also quite surprised about the level of comfort. The Isurus Pro managed to fit snugly in my ears that I didn’t even notice it was there after playing for a couple of hours! Moreover, it didn’t hurt at all and there was a good degree of noise isolation as well.
If there is one thing I would like to note about the Isurus Pro, it can be difficult for people with small ears to fit this one. It is a bit on the larger side (at least for an earphone). However, once you can fit them in, they’re comfortable and they have an amazing audio performance.
The Tt eSports Isurus Pro is definitely one of the most unique gaming earphones on the market. It has a detachable microphone that provides crystal-clear voice quality and it has two 13.5mm drivers that provide a great and balanced soundstage.
It also has the aesthetics that make it truly a premium pair of earphones and it has a few accessories that will complement the earphones as well.
If you have only $40 to spend on a gaming earphone, then definitely go for the Tt eSports Isurus Pro.
