Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming out next year, and with it, comes a whole new style of Dragon Ball fighting games. For this title is made by the team who made Guilty Gear, and thus the game will be 2D, and have some very hard-hitting styles and character variations. In fact, the roster so far has been very unique compared to one another, even when it’s the “same character”. If you’re looking for proof of that, we have it for you. For in the game is two versions of the character Buu. There’s Fat Buu…and there’s Kid Buu.
For those who don’t know, Buu is one of the strongest characters in the Dragon Ball universe, and he’s taken many forms over his time fighting and destroying galaxies. Yes, we said GALAXIES! Anyway, Fat Buu is the result of him absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai, who had a very jovial nature. But his original and purest form is Kid Buu, which is a whole different animal as you’ll see in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Cause you see, Kid Buu don’t play around. Kid Buu hits hard, strikes hard, and does it with incredible speed. He’s cocky, and it’s afraid to show it off as you’ll see here. He has physical and energy blasts that can rip opponents apart, including his classic planet burst attack. An attack that in the anime actually destroyed Earth.
This character will definitely be the pick for those who don’t want to let their opponents breathe for a single second. So don’t be afraid to test him out. Nor should you be afraid to test out all the other characters of the game! Which includes legendary Dragon Ball characters like Goku and Vegeta (in multiple forms), Gohan, Android 18, Krillin, Tien, Nappa, Frieza, Cell, and more.
Dragon Ball FighterZ arrives January 26, 2018.
